Kia Ora For fitness today we played a Te Reo Kori game for Maori language week! It was was a challenge between the Rapeti (Rabbits) and the Kiore (Rats). The boys were the Kiore and the Girls the Rapeti. We were all with a buddy and when Miss Harris called out Kiore they had to try and get to the white line, and the Rapeti chased them. When Miss Harris called out Rapeti they had to run and get chased by the Kiore! It is like the game Rats and Rabbits in English. We had lots of fun and tried our very best to not get tagged. Tino Pai B2! We also learnt the Maori words for some animals. We already knew what a rapeti was as some of us are in that reading group! Happy Maori Language Week Everyone!
