B4 - Kei te pehea koe?

This week is Te wiki o Te Reo Maori - Maori language week.  The theme this year is Arohatia Te Reo (Cherish the Language). At Eastern Hutt School we have all been doing lots of fun Te Reo learning this week.

In B4 we think we already know lots of Te Reo Maori kupu (words), but this week we have been trying extra hard to use Te Reo Maori every day.  We have been using greetings and asking each other how we are feeling.  We know lots of words to describe how we are feeling (happy, good, well, hot, cold, sleepy, sick).

Here are some videos of us asking "Kei te pehea koe?" (How do you feel?) and replying to our partner with "Kei te  ______ ahau."  (I feel ______).  Can you guess how we are feeling?  Some of us have used actions to help you to understand.

To see the rest of our videos check out our blog post here:
